....omg... that was depressing. At least the guys seem happy...

Perhaps they should have had the tour underwritten. A lot of people talked shit about the Stones when they did the first underwritten tour (Jovan Fragrances, or as K. Richards put it: "That stinky shit you spray on"). This allows bands to cut ticket prices in half. Of course, people would have yelled 'sellout' if The Dead had a tour underwritten.

maybe they should just halve the ticket prices and tour for twice as long. i don't think i'm paying $72 for nosebleeders. maybe i'll see if i can find something day of show for a discount.
